As we approach the end of 2011 there is much to consider. The capitalist world is suffering a series of financial crises. Many nations are hopelessly in debt, including the United States; currencies are losing value; businesses are going under or struggling; the European financial system is crumbling before our eyes, and many experts think the worst is yet to come. The politicians in Europe and America have not faced up to the crisis. Current policies appear to resemble a series of delaying actions. Looking back on the first decade of the twentieth century we may ask ourselves whether these economic troubles are related to moral and cultural failings.

In response to the passage by the House and the Senate of the National Defense Appropriations Act of 2012 (NDAA), Stewart Rhodes (left), founder of Oath Keepers, announced a national effort to recall every member who voted for the act.
In response to the passage by the House and the Senate of the National Defense Appropriations Act of 2012 (NDAA), Stewart Rhodes (left), founder of Oath Keepers, announced a national effort to recall every member who voted for the act.
Oath Keepers was founded by Rhodes to encourage current members of the military services and veterans to keep their oath to protect and defend the Constitution against “all enemies, foreign and domestic.” Members commit to following certain “orders we will not obey,” including, as especially relevant to NDAA, Number Three:
We will NOT obey any order to detain American citizens as “unlawful enemy combatants” or to subject them to trial by military tribunal.

Two retired four star Marine generals have written a stunning op-ed in the New York Times which demands that President Obama veto the National Defense Authorization Act, a bill that allows the government to use the military to indefinitely detain American citizens without due process.
Charles C. Krulak and Joseph P. Hoar, both 4 star Marine generals, published the piece on December 12. The op-ed starts with a direct demand that President Obama veto the NDAA bill in order to protect our country from the “false choice between our safety and ideals.”

A Christian and Missionary Alliance congregation in Paramus, N.J., is facing a forced removal from a debt-free building the congregation has owned since 1929 this weekend, and they are blaming their own denominational officials for the impending ministry doom.
The Metropolitan District of the C&MA has filed a lawsuit, invoking a "reversionary" clause in documents they claim link the Paramus congregation to the C&MA. This clause, they say, allows them to step in and take over all assets of a church and their demand of the court is for the judge to order the church's shutdown.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) apparent war on Amish raw dairy farmers increased on December 6 when they filed a “motion for summary judgment,” with Pennsylvania judge Lawrence Stengler asking for a permanent injunction against dairy farmer Dan Allgyer to forbid him from selling fresh milk out of state. FDA regulation 21 CFR §1240.61 criminalizes any selling of milk intended to cross state lines.

In this essay I shall first attempt to lay out the complex geography or network of that milieu, which I call the global drug connection, and its connections to what has been called an "alternative" or "shadow" CIA. I shall then show how this network, of banks, financial agents of influence, and the alternative CIA, contributed to the infrastructure of the Kennedy assassination and a series of other, superficially unrelated, major deep events.
In this narrative, the names of individuals, their institutions, and their connections are relatively unimportant. What matters is to see that such a milieu existed; that it was on-going, well-connected, and protected; and that, with increasing independence from governmental restraint, it played a role in major deep events in the last half century.
This of course strengthens the important hypothesis to be investigated, that this on-going milieu may also have contributed to the disaster of 9/11.

Republican presidential frontrunner Newt Gingrich’s embracement of global warming pseudo-science isn’t limited to cringeworthy PSA’s with Nancy Pelosi, not does it stop at his advocacy for carbon taxes. Gingrich is also a vehement proponent of geoengineering.
Geoengineering is a product of the harebrained and potentially catastrophic scientific fringe which posits that using airliners to dump huge amounts of sulphur into the atmosphere, injecting the oceans with nitrogen, and parking giant spaceships above the earth to block out the sun, is necessary to avert global warming.
“Geo-engineering holds forth the promise of addressing global warming concerns for just a few billion dollars a year,” Gingrich said back in 2008. “We would have an option to address global warming by rewarding scientific innovation. Bring on American ingenuity. Stop the green pig.”

Obama administration lawyers stated Thursday that American citizens are legitimate military targets if they're waging war against the United States. This came just a day after it was revealed that the administration had ordered a Shariah-compliant scrub of all counterterrorism materials, so that they wouldn't say anything about Islam or jihad and would leave law enforcement officials completely unequipped to understand the enemy ideology.
Taken together, these two decisions are ominous. If we are not fighting against Islamic terrorists, then who exactly is the enemy? Which Americans will Obama target? And it is Obama's decision: Pentagon lawyer Jeh Johnson said Thursday that it was up to the executive branch to decide whether an American citizen was waging war against the United States and thus had no legal immunity, and needed to be taken out.

"The possibility of a military attack against Iran is now closer to being applied than the application of a diplomatic option," warned Israeli President Shimon Peres.
National Review magazine noted this, as well as reporting the following:
"The International Atomic Energy Agency, the nuclear watchdog, also happens to be publishing an unprecedented warning that Iran has reached the final stages before fitting nuclear warheads onto missiles. Can it be coincidence that Israel has been practicing long-range air strikes and holding large-scale civil defense exercises simulating the response to all kinds of missile attacks?"
Who will neutralize the threat from Iran before the mullahs finish building nuclear warheads and the ballistic missile systems to deliver them?
"The international community must stop Iran before it's too late," Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned in his United Nations speech last month. "If Iran is not stopped, we will all face the specter of nuclear terrorism, and the Arab Spring could soon become an Iranian winter. The world around Israel is definitely becoming more dangerous."
"Iran has not abandoned its nuclear program. The opposite is true, it continues full steam ahead," warned Maj. Gen. Eyal Eisenberg, home-front command chief for the Israel Defense Forces, in a September speech. He warned that the Arab Spring could turn into a "radical Islamic winter" and "this raises the likelihood of an all-out total war, with the possibility of weapons of mass destruction being used."
The Obama administration is not taking decisive action to neutralize Iran. President Obama's policy of engagement with the mullahs has morphed into a policy of appeasement, and it has failed.
A bipartisan poll conducted in September by Democrat Pat Caddell and Republican John McLaughlin found that 77 percent of Americans think the Obama administration's current policy toward stopping Iran's nuclear program "will fail." About 63 percent of Americans think Iran is the nation posing the greatest threat to us, ahead of China and North Korea. Remarkably, 63 percent of Americans also approve of pre-emptive military action against Iran if economic sanctions do not stop its nuclear program.
Very fortunately for this nation's future, none of the GOP presidential candidates agree with President Obama on this issue. Nor do they agree with the absolutely mind-boggling position of their fellow Republican candidate, Ron Paul, who has written the following astounding statements:
"One can understand why (the mullahs) might want to become nuclear-capable, if only to defend themselves and be treated more respectfully," Paul has written. The congressman opposes economic sanctions on Iran. He opposes pre-emptive strikes on Iran. Indeed, Paul has indicated he does not have a problem with Iran acquiring nuclear weapons because he doesn't think mullahs in Iran would actually use such weapons against their enemies. What's more, he has stated that he would not come to Israel's defense if Iran fired nuclear weapons at the Jewish state.

Girl Scout whistleblowers not only want every girl and her parents to be aware of what they describe as an "evil agenda" behind today's Girl Scouts, but they want the faith community to take action as well.
They say that's a problem for troops under the auspices of the Catholic youth ministry leadership.
Whistleblowers tell WND that they are being stymied by an entity that should be doing what they are – sounding the alarm.
The National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry is a group that oversees the relationship between the Girl Scouts and the Catholic Church. But numerous independent watchdogs tell WND that the NFCYM is preventing the Catholic community from hearing the facts about the Girls Scouts, and they want to know why.
According to Bob McCarty, the executive director of NFCYM, his group is the exclusive provider of the Catholic curriculum and awards for the GSUSA.

A new report from the respected think tank Pike Research has concluded that the world's electrical grid security is in a state of "near chaos."
The report titled "Utility Cyber Security" states "the attackers clearly have the upper hand" and that many of the attacks on the electrical grid cannot be prevented.
The electrical grid is suffering from aging infrastructures with older equipment having no security built into it, the report says. Much of the equipment is decades old, and the only security it has is what is called in the security industry "security by obscurity," a term that describes attempts to use the relative rarity of a system as the only defense against cyber attack.
